KARIN WORDEN

Karin Worden’s jewelry is inspired by the sense of Spirit she finds in the natural world. She enjoys capturing fleeting moments in nature’s most enduring materials: silver and gold.

Each piece is entirely hand built using ancient goldsmithing techniques, sometimes with a modern twist, exhibiting considered lines and subtle textures. Karin infuses a sense of play into a mastery of metals.

Karin received an MFA from UMASS Dartmouth, a BA from San Diego State University and completed studies in art jewelry at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Originally a ‘city girl’ from Downtown Boston, where she was influenced by contemporary and historic architecture, Karin now divides her time between Laguna Beach, CA and Santa Fe, NM – two sites rich in inspiration and Nature. Look for the influences in her jewelry.
